Fall Graduating Class Features 11 Student-Athletes

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Eleven fall graduates from UNC Athletics will be recognized this weekend when the 103^rd Commencement ceremonies are conducted on campus.

Two ceremonies are planned. The Friday, Dec. 16, 2022, ceremony is scheduled for 6 p.m. and honors graduates from the Cameron School of Business and Watson College of Education. The Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022, ceremony begins at 10 a.m. for the College of Arts & Sciences and 2 p.m. for the College of Health and Human Services.

The group includes five student-athletes who have achieved Master's Degrees. The men's soccer team features four graduates. Overall, 2,442 students (1,649 undergraduates, 772 Master's and 21 Doctoral).

"We're extremely proud of our student-athletes," said Jimmy Bass, UNCW's athletic director. "They continue to balance the rigors of classwork with their athletic pursuits so well. We are especially pleased with the five student-athletes who have achieved advanced degrees."
