Sixty Seahawks Earn "With Distinction" Honors From CAA

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW landed a total of 299 student-athletes on the Coastal Athletic Association's Spring 2025 Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll, including 60 with high honors with distinction.

"We are incredibly proud of our student-athletes for their dedication in the classroom this past spring. Achieving 60 perfect 4.0 GPAs and over 87% earning CAA honors speaks volumes about their commitment to academic excellence," said Dr. Shannon Pease, UNCW Associate Athletic Director/Director of Student-Athlete Support Services. "Their hard work, time management, and resilience continue to raise the bar and reflect the true spirit of what it means to be a Seahawk."

Sixty student-athletes achieved "With distinction honors" by posting a perfect 4.0 grade point average in the semester.

The Athletics Department achieved another successful semester in the spring as all 19 programs achieved at least a 3.0 GPA and combined for a 3.503 grade point average.
