Seahawks Leave Nest With Achievements

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The 2020-21 year is in the books, so to speak, and many of UNCW's student-athletes have big plans in the immediate future. It's one that begins now for this ambitious group.

Some will attend graduate or professional school, some will begin jobs in their chosen field and some will return home to work in the family business. All of which makes for a busy, anxious time for Seahawk student-athletes who have spent the better part of the last four years with their coaches and  teammates at practices and games.

"Reflecting on my four years, I learned an immense amount of information and now see the world around me in a whole new light," reflected beach volleyball standout JM Lewandowski, the 2020-21 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee president. "The joy I found at UNCW was not only found in my academics, but was compounded with my experience as a student-athlete."
