SUNSET, South Carolina – Freshman Phu Khine moved into a tie for eighth place after firing a two-under-par 70 for the second straight round to lead UNCW at the Clemson Invitational held at The Reserve at Lake Keowee on Monday afternoon.
 
No. 7 Vanderbilt shot 11-under-par in the second round to take an eight-stroke lead over No. 14 Auburn while host Clemson, ranked No. 34 according to GolfStat, is third at eight-under-par.
 
Khine carded three birdies in the second round against just one bogey to rise into the top 10 entering the final round.
 
Auburn's Julie McCarthy and Tennessee's Michaela Williams are tied for the individual lead at eight-under-par.
