Phu Khine carded a one-over par 73 to lead UNCW during the final round of the UNC Tar Heel Classic at the Casa de Campo Resorts & Villas on Saturday afternoon.
The Seahawks, who posted a 299-306-304=909 team score, finished the tournament in 13th place. Wake Forest earned the team title after finishing 19 strokes ahead of Virginia.
Khine earned a share of 20th place after posting a 73 for the second straight round. Junior
Thao My Nguyen finished in a tie for 39th place at nine-over par while sophomore
Rachael Mast completed the tournament in 62nd place at 16-over par.
Senior
Ellinoora Moisio completed the Seahawks' contingent in a tie for 65th place.
Up Next: The Seahawks will be idle until Apr. 7-9 when they compete at the Clemson Tiger Invitational. It will be the Seahawks' final tune-up before the Colonial Athletic Association Championship.
