CHAPEL HILL, North Carolina – Sophomore Amy Wooten carded a one-over par 73 to lead UNCW during the second round of the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational at the UNC Finley Golf Course on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Seahawks remain in a tie for 16th place after posting a 300 team score in the second round. Kentucky moved into the team lead after firing a 10-under par score on Saturday and has a one-stroke advantage over Wake Forest.
 
Wooten made par of 17-of-18 holes in the second round to move into a tie for 58th place. Junior Caroline Cahill finished the second round with a share of 68th place after shooting a two-over par 74 while freshman Mallory Fobes is tied for 78th place.  
 
Up Next: The final round of the Tar Heel Invitational is slated for Sunday morning with a 9:15 a.m. shotgun start.
