Phu Khine carded a three-over-par 74 as UNCW completed play at the Schooner Fall Classic at Belmar Golf Course on Sunday afternoon.
The Seahawks, who were playing their first tournament of the season, closed out the tournament in 14th place after recording a 305 team score. Alabama won the tournament after firing an NCAA-record 45-under-par, finishing 17 strokes ahead of Texas.
Khine finished her first collegiate tournament in a tie for 50th place after posting her second-straight three-over-par effort.
Junior
Thao My Nguyen earned a share of 44th place after finishing at four-over-par, including a 79 in the final round. Sophomore
Rachael Mast was tied for 65th place with an 11-over-par tournament score while senior
Ellinoora Moisio was 77th with a 231 tournament score, including a four-over-par 75 in the final round.
Freshman
Madison Issacson completed the Seahawks' contingent in 81st place.
The Seahawks return to action at the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational on Oct. 12-14.
