WILMINGTON, North Carolina – A group of 14 college women's golf teams will descend upon Wallace, N.C., this week to participate in the 18th annual River Landing Classic hosted by UNCW and East Carolina.

The two-day event, which will be played on the River Course at the River Landing Golf Club, will feature 36 holes of play on Monday, Mar. 5, before closing with the final 18-hole round on Tuesday, Mar. 6. All three rounds will be played on a par-72, 6,082-yard layout.

Coach Cindy Ho Says: "I am very excited to be co-hosting the River Landing Classic with East Carolina again. We both have strong ties to the Murphy family and they enjoy hosting a collegiate women's event at their club. The River Course is challenging and will provide an excellent test to our strong field of 14 teams this year. ECU, Campbell and Memphis headline the field, but there are a lot of capable teams who will challenge them this week. For us to contend, we will need all five players to contribute each day. We will also need to attack the course and make lots of birdies in order for us to be near the top of the field."
