Thao My Nguyen, UNCW posted a nearly identical team score during the second round of the Clemson Invitational at The Reserve at Lake Keowee to remain in 12th place.

The Seahawks fashioned a 296 team score to enter the final round just four strokes behind Oklahoma. Furman continues to hold the lead at 26-under par after firing an impressive 273 team score in the second round.
Nguyen, who is tied for 22nd place entering the final day, posted a one-under-par 71 in the second round, which included six birdies. Senior
Lyberty Anderson holds a share of 35th place after carding a 73 on Saturday while junior
Ellinoora Moisio is tied for 56th place at five-over-par following a 75 in the second round.
Freshmen
Caroline Cahill (+9) and
Rachael Mast (+11) head into the final round in a tie for 70th and 75th places, respectively.
Coach Cindy Ho Says: "I am really proud with how the team fought and bounced back on the last nine holes by going two-under par. With the exception of Thao My, we struggled at the beginning of the round on the back nine holes of the course and got into a big hole. We got ourselves into some tough spots and made some double bogeys when our ball striking was off. The girls were finally able to get some momentum going after the turn and finish strong. The scoring is incredible this week and this course is not easy, which is a testament to how good these teams are. We are not far off from putting a great round together. Thao My had another excellent round to lead the team and she is so close to really breaking through."
Up Next: The final round of the Clemson Invitational is set for Sunday morning. The Seahawks will start on the 10th hole with tee times beginning at 9:12 a.m.
