GREENVILLE, South Carolina – Junior Ellinoora Moisio carded an even-par 72 to lead UNCW during the second round of the Furman Lady Paladin Invitational at the Furman University Golf Course on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Seahawks, who finished with a 297 team score in the second round, moved to ninth place following 36 holes of play while Daytona State remains the team leader with a four-stroke lead over Furman.
 
Moisio fashioned three birdies during the second round to enter the final day of competition in a tie for 23rd place with a 148 score.
 
Freshman Caroline Cahill put together a one-over-par round by posting par or better in 16-of-18 holes, including a pair of birdies, and will enter Sunday's final round tied for 48th place.  
 
Senior Kayla Thompson leads the Seahawks with a share of 19th place after firing a four-over-par 76 on Saturday with a team-high four birdies. She has posted 11 birdies in the first two rounds of the tournament after recording nine birdies in the season-opening tournament at William & Mary two weeks ago.
 
Freshman Rachael Mast matched Thompson with a four-over-par effort in the second round to move into a tie for 74th place while sophomore Thao My Nguyen finished the second round in a tie for 33rd place following a six-over-par effort.
