WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW continues its three-game conference homestand on Saturday when Delaware and first-year skipper Martin Inglesby visit Trask Coliseum for the annual Homecoming Game.

The Seahawks (20-4, 9-2) are looking to get back on track following a pair of losses to William & Mary (101-77) and Charleston (67-66). UNCW remains in a first-place tie in the Colonial Athletic Association with the Cougars (18-6, 9-2). Elon (15-9, 7-4) and William & Mary (13-9, 7-4) sit two games behind the leaders.

UNCW takes on the Blue Hens (9-15, 2-9) at 7 p.m. and the fourth sellout of the season is expected at the lively arena.

UNCW sophomore C.J. Bryce ranks third in the CAA in scoring at 17.0 points per game and anchors four Seahawks in double figures. Senior guard Chris Flemmings (15.4), senior guard Denzel Ingram (14.9) and sophomore forward Devontae Cacok (13.4) provide plenty of support in the scoring column.

Like Bryce, the 6-7, 240-pound Cacok is having a breakout season. The Riverdale, Ga., product is averaging a double-double with 10.6 rebounds each contest and leads all players in the NCAA Division I ranks in field goal percentage by converting 78.8 percent.

UNCW and UD are meeting for the 32nd time since the Blue Hens joined the CAA in the 2001-02 season. The Seahawks own a 20-11 advantage in the series and have taken 10 of the 13 matchups at Trask Coliseum, including eight of the last 10 meetings on the coast.

Head Coach Kevin Keatts stands 4-1 against the Blue Hens following a 91-81 verdict on Jan. 7 in Newark. Bryce, who is turning in an All-CAA caliber year, poured in a career-high 27 points to lead all five starters in double figures at the Bob Carpenter Center.

UNCW turned back several UD comebacks in the first matchup. The Seahawks wound up winning the game by 10 points on the road, but not without a few uneasy moments at the end when the Blue Hens tied the score with just under 17 minutes left to play.

Delaware features one of the top rookies in the circuit in freshman guard Ryan Daly, a multi-skilled player who is collecting a team-best 14.7 points and 6.8 rebounds each contest. The Blue Hens dropped a 73-65 decision at Hofstra on Thursday night before traveling down to the coast.

One of the contenders for Rookie-of-the-Year in the CAA, Daly finished with 28 points in the first meeting, tying for the most points scored against the Seahawks this season. The Seahawks shot 61.9 percent in the second half and 57.7 percent for the game to hand Inglesby a loss in his first game vs. UNCW.

Inglesby is one of three new head coaches in the 10-team CAA. The Seahawks are 4-0 against the league's newest coaches after beating Inglesby, Drexel's Zach Spiker twice and James Madison's Louis Rowe.

UNCW concludes its three-game homestand – the longest of the season – on Thursday, Feb. 9, when James Madison comes to the Port City. The Dukes bring another first-year head coach to the Port City as former JMU standout Louis Rowe pays his first visit as a head coach.
