WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Inclement weather and course conditions forced the cancellation of the third round at The Landfall Tradition on Sunday morning at the Country Club of Landfall.

No. 4 Duke was declared the team champion after finishing just one stroke ahead of No. 2 Alabama at 14-under-par through 36 holes. Duke sophomore Ana Belac and Virginia freshman Beth Lillie shared medalist honors after completing the first two rounds at nine-under-par.
Tournament Notes: It is the second time in the 16-year history of the event that 54 holes have not been played in the tournament … The 2012 Landfall Tradition only had 18 holes played due to weather … It is also the second time the tournament has featured co-medalists … Duke becomes the second team to win The Landfall Tradition three times, joining Wake Forest (2007, 2008, 2014) … It is also the seventh time the same school has posted the team champion and individual medalist in the tournament, but the first time since 2013 when Alabama won the team title with Stephanie Meadow winning individual honors.
