WILMINGTON, North Carolina – No. 4 Duke held its one-stroke advantage over No. 2 Alabama after the second round of play at the 16th annual Landfall Tradition on Saturday at the Country Club of Landfall.

The Blue Devils, who set a tournament first round record on Friday, finished the second round at 14-under-par after shooting a 285 team score. Alabama, meanwhile, remains one shot back after matching Duke's 285 team score in the second round.
No. 16 Michigan State and No. 9 South Carolina hold the third and fourth positions, respectively, while No. 6 Oklahoma State moved up two spots to enter the final round in fifth place after carding a 286 team score.
Beth Lillie of Virginia moved into a tie for first place on the individual leaderboard after shooting a five-under-par 67. The Fullerton, Calif., product, who shares the lead with Duke sophomore Ana Belac, set the Virginia freshman single-round scoring record after posting five birdies with no bogeys in the second round.
Belac, who matched the Landfall Tradition single-round scoring record on Friday, posted a three-under-par score in the second round to hold a share of the lead.
UNCW, which moved up to 10th place after firing a 294 team score on Saturday, was paced by a trio of one-over-par scores from sophomore
Thao My Nguyen, junior
Ellinoora Moisio and senior
Lyberty Anderson. Nguyen begins the final round with a share of 15th place while Moisio follows in a tie for 28th place. Anderson is tied for 34th place at four-over-par for the tournament.
Second Round Notes: Belac leads the tournament with 13 birdies through two rounds … Lillie paces the tournament field with a five-under-par mark on par-5 holes … She is also one of two players to record an eagle in the first two rounds of the tournament … The 96 players have combined to post a 74.83 scoring average through two rounds.
