National Letter of Intent

The National Letter of Intent (NLI) is an agreement between a prospective student-athlete and UNCW for the individual to attend UNCW. The NLI must be accompanied by a scholarship agreement for the upcoming academic year. Each sport has a period during the academic year when it is permissible to issue an NLI. The periods are provided in the chart below.
