NC State Turns Back No. 23 UNCW

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State used a 26th-minute goal by Russell Berko to turn back No. 23 UNCW 1-0 in non-conference men's soccer action on Tuesday night at Dail Soccer Stadium.

The Wolfpack improved to 3-1-3 while the Seahawks stand at 4-1-1 after their five-game unbeaten streak was snapped.

Berko's score was assisted by Austin Bush for only the second goal allowed by UNCW this season.

NC State outshot the Seahawks, 15-3.

UNCW resumes Coastal Athletic Association play on Saturday at Campbell at 7 p.m. The contest will not be streamed, but live stats will be available.
