Volleyball Swept By Crimson

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Lilly Sullivan and Courtney Graham posted seven kills apiece for UNCW, but it was not enough as Harvard swept the Seahawks (25-21, 25-19, 25-15) on Saturday at the UNCW Hampton Inn University Invitational.

With the win, the Crimson, which claimed the tournament title, moved to 6-0, while the Seahawks fell to 4-6.

Harvard used a balanced offense, with Kayla Nwabueze posting eight kills and receiving seven kills from both Ali Farquhar and Sofia Rossi. Six Harvard players recorded at least five kills.

The Seahawks visit Winthrop next on Sept. 18 at 5 p.m. in Rock Hill, S.C.
