Baseball Falls To Campbell, 6-3

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Behind another strong performance at the plate by Jett Music, Campbell doubled up UNCW, 6-3, on Friday at Brooks Field.

The Camels clinched a series win with the road victory and improved to 38-15 and 25-4. The Seahawks, meanwhile, dropped into third place in the South standings with the loss and fell to 28-25 and 16-13.

Music had three hits, including two home runs, and knocked in three runs for the Camels.

Caleb White (1-0) was credited with the win while Owen Simmons earned the save.

JP Pennella and Danny O'Brien both had two hits and a run batted in for UNCW.

Starter Cooper Allen (7-4) was saddled with the loss.

The series concludes with a 4 p.m. start on Saturday.
