Snowden Swims Thursday At NCAA Championships

ATLANTA, Ga. – UNCW senior Cameron Snowden will open her NCAA Championship appearance on Thursday when she competes in the 100 Butterfly at the McAuley Aquatic Center. The event prelims kickoff at 10 a.m.

Snowden is the first Seahawk to qualify for the NCAA Championships in consecutive years. As a junior, she swam in both the 50 Free and 100 Fly at the championships. In the 100 Fly, Snowden finished 19th overall and set a program record with a time of 51.57 seconds.

This season, Snowden was honored as the Coastal Athletic Association Most Outstanding Performer at the championship meet. She won three events, including the 100 Fly, and helped a pair of relays to gold medal finishes.

Thursday's prelims begin at 10 a.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+.
