Men's Tennis Falls to Washington, 5-2

AUSTIN, Texas – The UNCW men's tennis team closed out the ITA Kickoff Weekend with a 5-2 setback to Washington at the University of Texas's Weller Indoor Tennis Center on Saturday.

The Huskies upped their record to 3-2 while the Seahawks dipped to 0-2 following the spring-opening loss at No. 4 Texas on Friday.

UNCW's Oscar Baumgartner and Brady Hussey both claimed singles wins over Washington's Brett Pearson and Hyeon Seok Seo, respectively.

The Seahawks next travel to Georgia Tech for a Noon match on Jan. 31 in Atlanta.
