AUSTIN, Texas – UNCW dropped a 4-0 decision at nationally-ranked Texas on Friday in the ITA's men's tennis Kickoff Weekend.

The Longhorns, who were ranked fourth in the most recent ITA poll, pushed their record to 3-2 with the win while the Seahawks fell to 0-1.

In doubles, Lukas Steffen and William Dean earned a 6-3 win over UT's Jonah Braswell and Abel Forger at the second position in the lineup.

The Seahawks take on Washington, a 4-0 loser to USF, at 10a.m. EST on Saturday.
