ORLANDO, Fla. – Senior Joseph Wayand earned his sixth victory of the year in No. 3 singles as UNCW men's tennis fell to no. 13 UCF on Friday, 4-1, at USTA National Campus.
Playing their sixth straight ranked opponent, the Seahawks dropped to 3-7, while the 13th-ranked Knights improved to 13-3.
Wayand, UNCW's leader in wins, cruised to victory in straight sets against Paul Colin, 6-3, 6-2.
