Volleyball Swept At Towson

TOWSON, Md. – Sophomore Marnie Ursem posted a season-high nine kills on Saturday in a loss (26-24, 25-20, 25-11) at Towson in Coastal Athletic Association volleyball play at the SECU Arena.

The Seahawks saw their record slide to 3-11 on the season and 2-3 in the CAA. The Tigers, meanwhile, pushed their winning streak to 14-straight and raised their records to 14-2 and 5-0.

Ursem led the Seahawks in kills and added a team-high six blocks.

Ella Sanders had a match-high 13 kills for the Tigers.

The Seahawks and Tigers close out the series on Sunday with a 1 p.m. start.
