Men's Soccer Falls in Non-Conference Finale

CLEMSON, South Carolina – The UNCW men's soccer team dropped a 6-0 decision in its non-conference finale at Clemson on Tuesday night at Historic Riggs Field.
 
The Tigers (8-3-2) earned a win over the Seahawks (4-7-2) in just the second-ever meeting between the two programs, following a 1-1 draw in 2023.
 
Clemson's Misei Yoshizawa's two-goal effort was backed by scores from Matthias Leib, James Kelly, Andres Beirute and Duncan Wilson. Nathan Richmond and Remi Okunlola each had two of the Tigers' seven assists in the match.
 
The Seahawks continue their three-game road swing next Wednesday, Oct. 29, at Campbell at 6 p.m. That game will be a resumption of the contest that was suspended in the 29th minute on Sept. 6 due to rain.
