Seahawk Club Sets Membership Mark

WILMINGTON, N.C. – The UNCW Seahawk Club has announced it set a record for its 2024 membership year with 2,752 members.

"We want to sincerely thank everyone who donated to support our coaches and student-athletes. Gifts of every size to any area of athletics made an impact for us, and led to this milestone," said Associate Athletics Director for Development Adam Fearing. "I would like to thank the Seahawk Club board of directors as well for their effort and leadership."

The Seahawk Club's membership year runs from January 1 through December 31. While there are benefits to certain levels of giving, every contribution to UNCW Athletics is counted in the annual membership total.

"We can tell there is a lot of momentum for our development team right now. After reaching a fiscal year record for total fund-raised dollars last June ($4M), we wanted to push for another milestone with the membership mark. We celebrate this with all Seahawk Club members!"
