WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Fresh off its CAA road-opening win at Monmouth, the UNCW men's basketball team wraps up its first Coastal Athletic Association road swing of the new year on Saturday when it visits Hofstra for a 1 p.m. tip-off at the Mack Sports Complex.

SERIES INFO
The two schools will meet once in the regular season for the third straight year and the 52nd all-time meeting. Hofstra has won the previous two regular season games while the Seahawks have an overtime win in the 2023 CAA Tournament sandwiched between the two setbacks.


LAST TIME OUT
All nine players to play scored in UNCW's 64-55 CAA road opener at Monmouth on Thursday. The Seahawks limited the Hawks to 33.9 percent from the field, the second-lowest mark by a UNCW Division I opponent this year.
 
UNCW's drained nine three-pointers, the second-highest total this season.


SCOUTING THE PRIDE
Hofstra was picked fourth in the CAA Preseason Poll and boasts two of the league's top 12 leading scorers in Cruz Davis and Jean Aranguren. The sophomore guards are both averaging 14.3 ppg.

The Pride dropped a close 67-61 decision to Charleston on Thursday night at home.

UNCW returns home on Jan. 16 to play Northeastern at 7 p.m.
