Manley Sets Program Record With 33 Digs

UNCW fell in three at Stetson

DELAND, Fla. – UNCW senior Quinn Manley set a program record for three-set matches with a career-high 33 digs on Friday in the Seahawks 3-0 loss at Stetson.

The Hatters improved to 3-2 with the win while UNCW dropped to 2-2.

Manley broke the previous mark of 29 held by Hailey Collins against Coastal Carolina during the 2011 season. Overall, the 33 digs are tied for fifth all-time at UNCW.

Freshman Macy Leyda paced the Seahawks with a season-high 14 kills and Sarah Matthews added eight.

Stetson's Jenna Simmons held match-high honors with 13 kills while Leilani Vitale and Anabelle Standish chipped in 11 and 10 kills, respectively

The Seahawks take on UCF at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
