BUIES CREEK, North Carolina – UNCW goalkeepers Bennett Jones and Trey Smiley teamed for a combined shutout as the Seahawks played Campbell to a scoreless draw in men's soccer action at the Eakes Athletics Complex on Tuesday night.

The game was considered a non-conference match for both the Seahawks (2-3-4) and Camels (4-1-4) and does not count for points toward the league standings.

Jones recorded three saves during the first half that featured 14 shots.

Smiley, a redshirt freshman, entered following halftime and completed UNCW's second shutout of the season and first combined shutout in two years.

Campbell's Samy Slimi produced his third shutout of 2024.

The Seahawks resume CAA play on Saturday at William & Mary at 7 p.m.
