GREENVILLE, South Carolina – The UNCW women's golf team closed out its second tournament of the fall season with a share of fourth place at the Lady Paladin Invitational at the Furman University Golf Course on Sunday afternoon.
The Seahawks played to a 291-286-298=875 score over the three-day tournament to finish even with Old Dominion. Xavier claimed the tournament title followed by runner-up Western Kentucky and the host Paladins in third place.
UNCW's Victoria Levy once again led the Seahawks with a one-under tournament score and a 10th-place finish. The former Coastal Athletic Association Rookie of the Year was one of three Seahawks to place in the top 15 of the 77-player field followed by sophomore Minouche Rooijmans (T-12th place) and junior Hannah Altman (15th place).
UNCW will next play at the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational hosted by North Carolina at the Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, N.C., from Oct. 11-13.
