Seahawks Fall vs. George Mason, 1-0

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The UNCW men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to visiting George Mason on Tuesday night at the UNCW Soccer Stadium.

The Patriots upped their record to a perfect 5-0 while the Seahawks dipped to 1-1-3.

George Mason's Marek Gonda proved the contest's lone goal in the 25th minute with assists by Javier Montava and Luis Maestre.

UNCW's Viktor Engh recorded eight saves in the second half and nine overall, matching his career-high.

The Seahawks begin Coastal Athletic Association play on Saturday at Hofstra at 1 p.m.
