NORFOLK, Virginia – The UNCW women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision at Old Dominion in Sunday afternoon non-conference play at the ODU Soccer Complex.

The Monarchs improved to 3-1 while the Seahawks dipped to 2-1-1.

ODU's Gry Boe Thrysoe put the Monarchs on the board with an unassisted goal on a direct kick in the 39th minute to give ODU a 1-0 lead into halftime.

The Monarchs tacked on another score in the 70th minute on a score by Riley Mullen.

Seahawks goalkeeping duo of Morgan Hobbs and Kitty Pope accounted for seven saves.

UNCW travels to Duke on Thursday at 7 p.m.
