UNCW BOT Approves Athletics Master Plan for Facilities

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW's Board of Trustees approved the Department of Athletics Master Plan for Facilities on Thursday.

"I want to extend my deepest gratitude to chairman Carlton Fisher and the UNCW Board of Trustees for their unwavering support and confidence in our vision," said UNCW Director of Athletics Michael Oblinger. "I am thrilled to announce that the Board of Trustees has officially approved our Athletics Master Plan. This marks a significant first step towards enhancing our athletic footprint and creating a more holistic experience for our student-athletes, coaches, fans, corporate partners, and the Wilmington community. We are committed to fostering an environment that supports the growth and success of our student-athletes both on and off the field."
