ELON, N.C. – After seeing Stony Brook rally to win the doubles point, UNCW rolled through the singles portion of its Coastal Athletic Association tournament match for a 4-1 win over Stony Brook.

The Seahawks (11-7) advance to the quarterfinals where they'll meet third-seed College of Charleston at 2 p.m. on Friday. Stony Brook sees its season end with a 3-14 record.

Eda Arli quickly made up the lost doubles point with a quick 6-3,6-2 victory on court one against Mia Palladino and Alicia Eberwin made it 2-1 with a 6-1, 6-3 win on court five against Corne Bruu-Syverson.

Elif Albayrak brought UNCW to within match point with her win on court three and Alex Borcich sent the Seahawks to the next round with a 6-3, 6-1 win on court six.
