Women's Tennis Clips Campbell, 4-3

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – In its final tune-up before the Coastal Athletic Association championship tournament, UNCW edged host Campbell, 4-3, on Saturday at the Nisbet Tennis Center.

The Seahawks improved to 10-7 overall and 3-4 against CAA competition while the Camels dropped to 11-8 and 1-4.

Campbell claimed the doubles point and pushed the lead to 2-0 with a win on court five.

Eda Arli, however, cut the deficit in half with her win on court one.

Campbell posted a win on court three to move to within match-point.

Stela Joksimovic kicked started UNCW's rally with her win on court two and Alex Borcich knotted the match at 3-all on court six.

Elif Albayrak competed the comeback with a win on court four to give UNCW the 4-3 win.

Next up for the Seahawks is the CAA Championship Tournament, hosted by Elon, on Apr. 24-28.
