Siddle Adds Montgomery and Moore For 2024-25

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW head men's basketball coach Takayo Siddle has announced the additions of Bo Montgomery and Sean Moore to play for the Seahawks for the 2024-25 season.

"They are very talented young men with high character and winning big is their main focus," said Siddle who completed his fourth season leading the program.

Montgomery joins the Seahawks following four seasons at Holy Cross where he averaged 9.3 points and 3.9 rebounds per game over the course of 105 games. He started 19-of-26 games his senior season for the Crusaders, including the final 11 games of the season. Montgomery poured in 15 points in an early-season upset of Georgetown and later scored a season-high 23 points against Bucknell and rounded out a double-double that game with 12 rebounds.

"Bo brings a high skill level and play-making to our team as he can play multiple perimeter positions. He has a knack for making everyone better around him.

Moore comes to UNCW as a third-team All-Northeast Conference selection during his senior season at Farleigh Dickinson. He started 31 games for the Knights, scored in double figures 20 times and grabbed 10 or more rebounds on eight different occasions. As a junior, Moore totaled 19 points in a first-round upset of number-one seed Purdue.

"Sean possesses versatility, and toughness and is another guy who can play multiple perimeter positions. He is a flat-out winner as he has done it on the grassroots and collegiate levels. His energy, competitiveness and skill level will really help our team next season."
