UNCW Shutout By North Carolina, 11-0

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – North Carolina scored in each of the first four innings on its way to an 11-0 run-rule-shortened win over visiting UNCW on Tuesday at Boshamer Stadium

The 17th-ranked Tar Heels improved to 16-0 at home and 18-4 overall on the season. The Seahawks, meanwhile, fell to 11-10.

Olin Johnson (1-0) earned his first collegiate win, going four shutout innings.

Luke Stevenson had three hits and scored three runs for UNC. Colby Wilkeson also scored three runs.

Cyle Phelan (0-3) lasted one inning in suffering the loss for UNCW.

Four Seahawks had a hit.

The Seahawks open Coastal Athletic Association play on Mar. 22 against visiting Elon at 6 p.m.
