WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW saw its three-match winning streak halted on Friday with a 4-2 setback to visiting New Mexico at the UNCW Tennis Complex.

The Seahawks dropped to 6-5 while the Lobos raised their record to 9-5.

UNCW gained a 1-0 lead winning the doubles point and Trey Mallory added a win on court five, 6-1 and 6-3 over Rafael Abdulsalam.

The Seahawks host Coastal Athletic Association rival William & Mary on Mar. 17 at noon.
