Men's Tennis Wins Third Straight

Seahawks blank Wichita State, 4-0

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW extended its winning streak to three matches on Tuesday with a 4-0 shutout of visiting Wichita State at the UNCW Tennis Complex.

The Seahawks improved to 6-4 while the Shockers dropped to 3-11.

Harold Huens and Reece Falck clinched the doubles point with a 6-0 win on court three over Alejandro Jacome and Marcelo Sepulveda.

Carrying a 1-0 lead into singles action, Jordi Domenech made it 2-0 with a 6-1, 6-2 win on court six and Huens pushed the lead to 3-0 with a quick straight-set victory on court one, 6-0, 6-0.

Falck clinched the match on court two with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Wichita's Micha Kvantaliani.

The Seahawks continue their homestand on Mar. 15, against New Mexico at 2 p.m.
