Womble Finishes Eighth In 50-Free

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Ethan Womble finished eighth in the men's 50 freestyle with a personal best time of 21.07 seconds to lead UNCW on Friday at the Cavalier Invitational at UVA Aquatic and Fitness Center.

In the women's 50 free, Cassidy Lima and Lauren Hinton finished ninth and 11th overall in the finals. Lima checked in with a time of 23.69 in the finals while Hinton's fastest time was 23.57 in the prelims earlier in the day.

In the women's 500 Free, Gracie Doyal touched the wall in a time of personal best time of 5:00.57.

Rachel Jones clocked in at 2:05.38 in the finals of the 200 IM to finish 10th.

The meet continues Saturday with the prelims at 11 a.m. and the finals at 6 p.m.
