NEW ORLEANS, La. – Gabe Hurtado's three-set win on court four lifted UNCW to a come-from-behind 4-3 win at Tulane on Friday at the City Park Tennis Complex.

The Seahawks evened their record at 2-2 with the road win while Tulane fell to 0-5 to start the season.

Hurtado outlasted Tulane's Luc Hoeijmans 6-1, 6-7, 6-3, in a match that lasted 2:44 and determined the match winner.

Tulane gained the doubles point with wins on two and three after Reece Falck and Harold Huens posted a 6-2 win on court one.

Jonathan Baron got the Seahawks on the board with a win on court six that cut Tulane's lead to 2-1.

Trey Mallory and Falk posted wins to give the Seahawks a 3-2 lead, but the Green Wave drew even with a win on court 2.

Hurtado went up 1-0 on court four before Hoeijmans tied the match at 1-all. Hurtado sailed in the final set, 6-3, to secure the match win.
