Men's Tennis Opens Road Trip With Loss At South Alabama

MOBILE, Ala. – UNCW opened a three-match road swing on Thursday with a 4-0 loss at South Alabama.

The Jaguars evened their record at 3-3 with the home win while the Seahawks dropped to 1-2.

USA grabbed the doubles point with wins on the second and third courts and Reece Falck and Harold Huens tied at 4-all on court one.

The clinching point came on court five as Juan Accossatto defeated Trey Mallory, 6-4, 7-6 (7-1). Huens led on court one, Falck was heading to a third set on court three as was Gabe Hurtado on court four when the match was clinched and did not finish their matches.

The Seahawks visit Tulane on Friday for a 2 p.m. start at City Park Tennis Center.
