UNCW Finishes Weekend With 6-1 Victory

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW sophomore Gabbie Glickstein finished off her opponent in straight sets to provide the clinching point in the Seahawks' 6-1 win over Presbyterian on Saturday in women's tennis action at the UNCW Tennis Complex.

The Seahawks swept their opening weekend to go to 2-0 with the win while Presbyterian dropped to 2-4 on the season.

Stela Joksimovic and Alicia Eberwein helped the Seahawks earn the double point to open the match with a 6-4 win over Claudi Sanchez and Valentina De Sousa.

Eda Arli, Katelyn Hubbard, and Glickstein delivered straight-set wins for the Seahawks.

The Seahawks visit Longwood on Feb. 10, when they next take the courts.
