Women's Tennis Stays Perfect To Open Season

GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNCW knocked off host UNC Greensboro, 5-2, in women's tennis action on Sunday to extend its winning streak to open the season to three.

While the Seahawks improved to 3-0 with their first road match of the season, UNCG fell to 0-5 on the young season.

Alicia Eberwein and Stela Joksimovic clinched the doubles point for UNCW with a 6-2 victory on court three.

The Seahawks won in straight sets on courts one through four with Katelyn Hubbard clinching the win on court three, 6-2, 6-3.

The Seahawks visit Coastal Athletic Association rival Towson on Feb. 24 when they next take the court.
