Men's Tennis Falls At No. 33 Georgia Tech, 4-3

Huens, Falck earned doubles win over nationally-ranked doubles tandem

ATLANTA, Ga. – UNCW came up short, 4-3, at Georgia Tech on Saturday in men's tennis action, but the doubles team of Harold Huens and Reece Falck earned a win over a nationally ranked tandem.

Georgia Tech upped its record to 8-2 with the home win while the Seahawks slid to 3-4.

Huens and Falck recorded a 6-4 win over the 32nd-ranked doubles team of Marcus McDaniel and Keshav Chopra. Trey Mallory and Gabe Hurtado delivered the double point for the Seahawks on court three with a 6-3 decision.

The match, though, came down to a three-set thriller on court four as GT's Richard Biagiotti edged Hurtado, 5-7, 6-2, 6-4 to earn the winning point for the Yellowjackets.

Falck drew the Seahawks even at 3-all on court three with a win over McDaniel, 6-2, 4-6, 7-5.

Jordi Domenech posted a win on court six, 6-4 and 6-2 for the Seahawks.

The Seahawks visit Georgia State on Sunday for a noon start.
