WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW, winners of four straight home games, looks to continue its Trask Coliseum winning ways on Saturday when it welcome UNC Asheville to the Coliseum of Chaos for its penultimate non-conference men's basketball contest at 2 p.m.

UNCW defeated UNC Asheville 83-66 one year ago in Asheville. UNCW Head Coach Takayo Siddle is 2-0 vs. the Bulldogs in his coaching career that includes his first career victory on Nov. 27, 2020.

The Seahawks are 18-9 in the all-time series, including an 11-2 mark at Trask Coliseum. Saturday is UNCA's first trip to the Port City in 12 years.

LAST TIME OUT
UNCW never trailed and led by as many as 19 points in its 83-66 bounce back victory vs. Florida Gulf Coast on Wednesday.

Donovan Newby led all scorers with 21 points while the Seahawks were aided by the return of Noah Ross, who contributed 12 points, six rebounds and a season-high five assists in 22 minutes of action of the bench.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
The Bulldogs carry a five-game win streak into Saturday that includes wins over Western Carolina and North Florida. UNCA was picked fourth in the Big South Preseason Poll while Josh Banks has lived up to his preseason second-team billing with 15.6 ppg and 4.1 rpg this year.

UNCA has four players averaging better than 10 points this season.
