UNCW Battles Northeastern to Scoreless Draw

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW and visiting Northeastern played to a scoreless draw on Sunday in Coastal Athletic Association women's soccer action at the UNCW Soccer Stadium.

The Seahawks moved to 2-2-2 in the conference and 4-6-4 on the season. The Huskies, meanwhile, ran their record to 0-2-3 in the league and 0-7-6 overall.

Northeastern finished with a 10-6 advantage in shots, including a 6-3 mark on goal.

UNCW's Morgan Hobbs made six saves en route to her second shutout of the season. Sophia Theresia Augustin posted three stops in fashioning her second clean sheet.

The Seahawks host Towson next on Oct. 13 at Noon.
