Men's Soccer Concludes Non-Conference Play

GREENSBORO, North Carolina – A brace by UNC Greensboro's Arnaud Tattevin spoiled UNCW's non-conference finale, 3-1, in men's soccer action at the UNCG Soccer Stadium on Wednesday night.

The Spartans hiked their record to 8-2-4 while the Seahawks fell to 4-7-4 in 2024.

Tattevin started the scoring in the 30th minute with a shot through the bottom right of the goal.

UNCW freshman Christian Acevedo neutralized another UNCG goal, scored by Keanan Bader, a minute after Baders on a helper from fellow first-year Osei Gyamfi to make it 2-1 Spartans entering halftime.

Tattevin completed the two-goal effort in the 68th minute to give UNCG the 3-1 win.

The Seahawks host Monmouth, first-place in the Coastal Athletic Association, in their home finale on Saturday at 2 p.m. UNCW will honor Bennett Jones and Zach Sauer in a special pregame Senior Day ceremony.
