WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Powered by goals from Makaya Parham, Viktoria Hankova and Taylor O'Brien, the UNCW women's soccer team closed out non-conference play with a 3-0 victory over Queens (N.C.) on Sunday afternoon at the UNCW Soccer Stadium.

The Seahawks improved to 1-4 this season. The Royals stumbled to 1-3-1.

UNCW connected on a set piece from the left corner by freshman Rachel Fry that O'Brien headed in for her second career goal.

Graduate goalkeeper Hanna Wise, who along with Parham, Kenady Adams and Bentley Settin were honored in a pregame Senior Day ceremony, fashioned a clean sheet with six saves.
