Yellow Jackets Buzz Seahawk Netters

ATLANTA, Georgia – UNCW's Reece Falck and Trey Mallory posted singles victories, but  Georgia Tech won the doubles point and added four singles wins to trim UNCW, 5-2, in men's tennis action on Sunday at the Ken Byers Tennis Complex.
 
The Yellow Jackets won their third match in a row to improve to 9-5. The Seahawks stand 3-3 this spring.
 
With the Seahawks trailing, 2-1, Falck upset 47th-ranked Marcus McDaniel, 1-6, 6-1, 6-0, at No. 2 singles. Mallory then evened the match at 2-all by beating Robert Bauer, 7-5, 6-3. The Yellow Jackets then finished off the victory with wins at the No. 4, No. 3 and No. 5 positions.
 
UNCW returns home on Saturday, Mar. 4, to entertain Longwood in a noon match at the UNCW Courts.
