White, Phillips Pour In Career-Highs In Loss

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Trazarien White and Shykeim Phillips finished with career-highs of 28 and 25 points, respectively, to lead UNCW on Saturday in a 106-90 loss to Arkansas at Bud Walton Arena.

The Razorbacks improved to 9-4 with their seventh home win of the season while the Seahawks concluded non-conference play with a record of 9-3.

Arkansas' Kenyon Menifield held game-high honors with a career-high 32 points and doled out five assists.

KJ Jenkins added 10 points for the Seahawks off the bench.

Leading 42-40 with just under two minutes remaining in the first half, Menifield scored the final six points for the Razorbacks, who carried a 48-42 lead into halftime.

The Seahawks open Coastal Athletic Association play on Jan. 4 at Drexel.

Notes: UNCW's six-point halftime deficit was the largest of the season … Eric Van Der Heijden collected a career-high 11 rebounds and added five points … The Seahawk bench outscored its counterpart, 47-27 … White drew a career-high 12 fouls.
