Seahawks, Tribe Play to Scoreless Draw

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The UNCW men's soccer team played William & Mary to a scoreless draw on Saturday night at the UNCW Soccer Stadium.
 
The Seahawks moved to 5-3-3 overall and 1-2-2 in the Coastal Athletic Association. The Tribe stand 2-6-3 overall with a 1-2-2 league record.
 
The draw places both teams in a five-way tie for sixth place in the CAA standings.
 
William & Mary's six shots represent the seventh game UNCW has held an opponent below 10 shots this season. The Seahawks recorded a pair of shot attempts in the second half.
 
UNCW goalkeeper Jacob Randolph achieved his fifth shutout of the season. The Metairie, La., native collected four saves, his third game with at least four stops.
 
The Seahawks host UNC Greensboro on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
